What are the programs offered by SSN SASE?

SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering (SSN SASE) has a successful collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, USA since 2001 and offers their Masters of Science in Information Technology with specialization in Software Engineering (MSIT-SE).

What is the duration of the program?

MSIT-SE is one and a half year full time residential program. The first year is offered at SSN SASE, upon successful completion the students proceed to CMU, complete their further studies, and obtain the MSIT-SE degree from CMU.

What are the minimum admission requirements?

The applicant should be a graduate or a post-graduate in engineering with minimum aggregate score of 70%. The candidates should possess valid GRE and TOEFL scores latest by February 15, 2012. Those with project experience and/or software industry experience will have an added advantage. MCA graduates with minimum aggregate score of 70% can also apply.

Whether both GRE and TOEFL are required for admission into the MSIT-SE program?

Yes. The candidates should have valid GRE and TOEFL scores latest by February 15, 2012.

What is the process of Admission in SSN SASE?

Complete the form in all respects and attach necessary supplementary materials.
Get a demand draft for1500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred Only) in favor of SSN School of Advanced Software Engineering payable at Chennai.
Send hard copy of completed form along with supplementary materials and the DD to the address mentioned at the bottom of the page.

Does SSN SASE arrange for any bank loan?

Yes. We do assist students in obtaining bank loan.

Am I required to stay on campus during the program?

Yes. Being a full time residential program, students need to stay on campus and work in team, since teamwork accomplishes a task more effectively and efficiently to achieve the common goal.

Is there an alumni association?

SSN SASE has a very strong and active Alumni network; our Alumni render maximum possible guidance to their juniors' always.

Please brief about the placement opportunities.

The chances of students getting placed are very high. There has been a 100% placement record for all the batches of students completing the MSIT degree. Usually students take their jobs in U.S through Technical & Business Opportunity Conferences held in the CMU campus. Our students have been well placed in companies of high-repute like Amazon, Bombardier Transportation, Cater Pillar, Deloitte Consulting, Goldman Sachs, Groupon, Microsoft, Oracle, Paypal, SalesForce.com, Yahoo! etc.,
